Producer Isoul Harris has been enamored with entertainment since he was a child. Growing up in the dawn of the MTV music video age, he quickly developed a love for music and visual arts that eventually expanded into an appreciation for journalism, publicity, film and television.
Born in Georgia, and raised in South Carolina, Maryland and New York, Isoul delved into writing, producing, and video production while attending Westchester County's White Plains High School, where he wrote various plays, and filmed productions. He then attended Atlanta's Morehouse College, majoring in English. After graduating, he secured his Master's degree from NYU, while also studying at England's prestigious Oxford University. While teaching school, he freelanced with various publications, including rolling out Urbanstyle Weekly, eventually taking the helm as its first Editor-in-Chief, and helping it successfully become the largest African-American weekly in the country.
Harris has parlayed his journalism experience into a variety of other areas in entertainment, including radio, television, and film. He has established himself in the entertainment world, working with a wide array of renowned personalities such as Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith, Toni Braxton, Queen Latifah, Beyoncé Knowles, Samuel L. Jackson, Eve, Chris Rock, Vivica A. Fox, and Vin Diesel and a host of others. He was the founder of Black I Media, which still manages publicity for various personalities and corporations, in addition to creating and developing television and movie projects. He also contributes to several nationally recognized magazines, including Vibe, Upscale, Good News, and serves as an Associate Producer for the syndicated television show, "College Talk", which reaches over 7 million homes weekly. Isoul is excited about extending his already extensive experience as a music and entertainment focused producer with VideoShoots.net.
